About This Program

This program trains community members, particularly women, as community health workers. Participants learn basic healthcare education, maternal and child health, nutrition, disease prevention, and first aid. Graduates work with local health centers to provide health education, conduct home visits, and support community health initiatives.

Requirements

- Must be between 20-45 years old
- Must have at least secondary education
- Must be a resident of Zanzibar West Constituency
- Must demonstrate commitment to community service
- Priority given to women with healthcare interest
